Terms of Service

The service

Card Tracker lets you browse a Pokémon card catalog with market prices and, with an account, track your own collection — what you own, what you paid, and how its value changes. It is a hobby tool provided as-is, with no uptime guarantee and no warranty of any kind.

Prices are informational

Market prices are imported from third-party marketplace data (TCGplayer, via TCGcsv) and can be delayed, incomplete, or wrong. Nothing here is financial advice, an appraisal, or an offer to buy or sell — always verify prices independently before a transaction.

Your account

You're responsible for keeping your password private and for what happens under your account. Don't abuse the service — no attempting to access other users' data, disrupting the service, or automated scraping at volumes that degrade it for others. Accounts that do may be suspended or removed.

Your data is yours

Your collection data belongs to you. You can delete your account at any time from the account menu — deletion is immediate and permanently removes your account and all collection data.

Trademarks

Pokémon and all card names, images, and logos are trademarks of their respective owners (Nintendo, Creatures, GAME FREAK, The Pokémon Company). Card Tracker is a fan-made tool and is not affiliated with, endorsed, or sponsored by any of them, nor by TCGplayer.

Privacy Policy

What we store

With an account: your email address, username, a salted hash of your password (never the password itself), and the collection data you enter — owned cards, purchase prices/dates, tags, notes, vendors, and display preferences. Without an account, browsing is anonymous and nothing about you is stored server-side; some display preferences are kept in your own browser's local storage.

What we don't do

No selling or sharing of your data, no advertising, no third-party analytics or tracking scripts. Your email is used only for authentication (and, if added later, password reset).

Operational logs

Standard server logs (request paths, timestamps, IP addresses for rate limiting, and error traces) are kept for debugging and abuse prevention, and are periodically discarded. Database backups are taken for disaster recovery; deleted accounts disappear from new backups as old ones rotate out.

Deleting your data

Deleting your account (account menu → Delete account) permanently removes your account row and everything attached to it. There is no soft-delete or recovery window.
